said to them, "Why are you afraid! Have you still
no faith? " (Mark 4:40)
Trusting
in Jesus takes a great deal of faith. After all,
we cannot see him or meet him physically. But
we can meet him in the Scriptures and in prayer.
Jesus wants to walk with us through every moment
of our life, but we need to invite him in so that
fear goes away. Offer up a fear of yours to Jesus.
Put faith in Jesus in the place of fear.
Christ,
our help, I wish I could have met you in person,
but then I wonder if I would have doubted you
like the disciples did. Please help me to trust
that with you in my life, I have no need to fear.
