Lord,
You too were once a student just like me.
You studied God's word, and You learned the history
of Your people, and You were taught a trade and
household chores as well. You grew up in
a family and advance in wisdom and age and grace.
Dear
Lord, help me always to open my mind to seek the
truth of things. Help me to be a good student.
Help me to desire to learn as much as I can.
And give me hope and strength to live my life
and follow in Your footsteps. Amen.
